2018 General Election: 300 Navakawau villagers cast their votes

VOTING proceeded normally for the 300 registered voters in the village of Navakawau on the southern tip of Taveuni this morning.

Villagers braved the showers that was experienced in the village, while some took shelter in sheds and others shared umbrellas at the Navakawau Polling Station.

Navakawau Village headman Sefanaia Ravatu said of the 700 population in the village, 300 were registered voters and they all turned up to cast their ballot.
