2018 FMF Chow Games: Vulaono, Tuigau victorious in 100m

NASINU’S Sereana Vulaono took out the blue ribbon in the U14 grade at the FMF Chow Games at the ANZ Stadium yesterday.

Vulaono 14 of Levukaidaku, Matuku ran a time of 13.37 seconds to claim the gold for her Nasinu team.

“I give the glory to God, and thank the Nasinu coaches for helping me reach my goal,”

No stranger to the track Vulaono has been running at this level of competition since she was 10 years old.

Lautoka’s Mesulame Tuigau who won the U14 boys blue ribbon said it was an honour ro represent his district and win such an event.

“I am thankful for the win and the opportunity to represent Lautoka.”

U14 girls grade: gold: Sereana Vulaono (Nasinu), silver: Kinisalote Navula (Nadi), bronze: Niria Veramu (Lautoka)

U14 boys grade: gold: Mesulame Tuigau (Lautoka), silver: Garry Kabasi (Suva one), bronze: Matia Waqanivalu (Nadi)
