FIJI’S Minister for Employment Jone Usamate says he is happy with their allocated $16.7million budget as it is in accordance with their policies.
The ministry’s budget had an increase of $200,000, which was attributed to an increase in the number of recipients for the seasonal work program in Australia and New Zealand for the engagement of liaison officers at the Australia and New Zealand offices.
“The budget is for the families of Fiji,” Mr Usamate said.
The total budget for the Ministry of Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations in 2018/2019 is $16.7 million, comprising $16.0m for operating expenditure and VAT of $700,000.
