2016-2017 Budget: Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination Commission gets $1.5m

Update: 10:34PM THE Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination Commission has been allocated $1.5million, an increase of $300,000 from last year. Attorney-General and Finance Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said this would allow the commission to receive and investigate complaints from the public. “The accountability and transparency commission will receive an allocation of $635,000,” he said.
