THE Chanel Home of Compassion held their annual bazaar in Tamavua, Suva this morning.
Home spokesperson Sister Esther Powell said they raised more than $20,000 in last year’s event.
She said the funds would go into financing the home such as paying off city rates and other expenses.
“We have around more than 18 staff with 20 residents at the home, the oldest is around 90 years old,” Ms Powell said.
“This is an annual event which we have around this time whether we fundraise for the home and also fun-raising.”
The event also featured the music band “Sound of the Pacific” and stalls selling scrumptious food.
