The Veilomani Food Bank received 39 food packs worth $2000 from the Asco Foundation last week.
Asco Motors chief executive officer Craig Sims said the foundation’s main aim was to support the people who were in need and they would continue to support similar initiatives in Fiji in the years to come.
Established in 2018, the Asco Foundation has supported similar initiatives in the past.
The Veilomani Food Bank initiative is a corporate social responsibility program initiated by the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Trade and Transport, Ministry of Housing and the Ministry of Local Government.
