ABOUT 230 mangrove seedlings have been planted at Nakavika Settlement in Ba today.
This has been part of World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Pacific’s ‘Living with Change: Resilient Mangroves, Fisheries and People of Fiji and PNG’ project.
According to WWF-Pacific, the replanting of the mangrove seedlings was to protect Nakavika Settlement from future coastline erosion, sea water intrusion and sea level rise.
