19 Police officers died of NCD, says health rep

NINETEEN members of the Fiji Police Force have so far died from non-communicable diseases this year alone.

Health and Medical Services Ministry representative Lusi Tamani noted this revelation while addressing the Fiji Police Wives Association during its 50th-year celebrations held at Sukuna Park in Suva yesterday.

She said the ministry was now conducting free health screenings for the force.
