EIGHT-TEEN people were charged with a total of 46 counts of separate incidents of serious sexual offences last month.
Statistics released by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) stated that 28 rape, four attempt to commit rape, three indecent assault and 11 sexual assault cases that were recorded for the month.
The statistics noted there were 20 victims of whom 10 victims were under the age of 18 years.
There were 17 female victims and three male victims.
And there were 11 incidents where the victims and the accused were related to one another.
