A $16MILLION Coral Coast tourism property by local developer, Hexagon Group, will open its doors for business today.

Yadra Bay Resort and Villas is the brainchild of Group chairman Hafizud Dean Khan, his son Azam Khan and managing director Dixon Seeto.

The five star resort offers 20 luxuriously set-up hotel rooms, a restaurant and function area capable of catering to more than 500 guests and a swimming pool with multiple water slides.

“We wanted to create a space for tourists to experience something different but we also wanted to give locals the ability to experience five-star comfort at an affordable price,” said Hexagon Group chairman Hafizud Dean Khan.

“Most of our properties – Suva Motor Inn, Hexagon International Hotel, Villas and Spa in Nadi and now Yadua Bay Villas offer cooking facilities – because we know what our locals like and that has been the hallmark of the Hexagon brand.”

Group managing director Dixon Seeto said another key feature of Hexagon properties was the waterslide.

“We had it at our pioneer hotel project, Tokatoka Resort, we have it at the Suva Motor Inn and we also have it at Yadua Bay Resort – this is something that is very popular with our local and regional guests,” he said.

Mr Khan said while the first phase of the resort featured only 20 rooms and eight villas, once fully completed, Yadua Bay Resort and Villas would offer 240 accommodation offerings from hotel rooms to villas and townhouses.
