WALK on Walk Strong Kids Fiji received a $15,000 boost from the organisers of the annual Nadi International Volleyball Tournament.

The handover held in Nadi yesterday was welcomed by WOWS Kids Fiji co-founder Sina Kami.

“This is more than what we had expected and everyone knows it will go a long way,” said Mrs Kami, who was emotional during the handover ceremony.

“We came all the way here just to show our appreciation.

“This is not the first time that they have helped us and I just want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Nadi International Volleyball Tournament founder and Fiji Airports manager airport landside operations and customer services Joe Gray said they were proud to support WOWS Kids Fiji.

“We want to thank WOWS Kids Fiji for partnering with us and allowing us to support such a great organisation and initiative that helps our children suffering from cancer,” he said.

“We all know that Christmas is around the corner and we hope that the token that we are giving to WOWS Kids Fiji will be put to good use and make a difference in a child’s life.

“I want to thank our sponsors that were always willing to support our work and helping us work with WOWS Kids Fiji.”
