TWELVE primary school students in Fiji have been chosen from the 1400 entries who entered to take part in this year’s Colgate My Bright Smile Global Art Contest.
Colgate-Palmolive Fiji Professional Relations and Community programs coordinator Dr Naina Kau said for the past 18 years, the ‘My Bright Smile Global Art Contest’ had allowed children around the globe, including Fiji and the Pacific from ages six to nine, to take part in the competition.
She said the purpose of this was to show the children what their own bright smiles meant to them.
“The artwork from the children this year was awesome,” she said.
The countries in the Pacific that took part included Fiji, Samoa, American Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Kiribati and Vanuatu.
The 12 winners, all from Fiji, are:
