Port Denarau Marina has received more than 100 applications from yachts and superyacht owners looking to travel to Fiji under the Blue Lane program.

According to Government, while the response was positive, the opening of the borders would continue to be heavily scrutinised.

“The opening of borders to tourists and yachts are under strict conditions where approval is not automatic and each application will be specifically assessed by border agencies,” the Fijian Government posted on its social media platforms today.

“Port Denarau Marina will begin the pilot program as Fiji enters the first stage of tourism reopening in the country.

“We are here to ensure that no Fijian is left behind due to COVID19.”
