Woman to front court for harbouring an escapee

A WOMAN who is being charged with one count of harbouring and will be produced at the Lautoka Magistrates court tomorrow.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the woman who is in her late 20s is alleged to have been harbouring escapee Josaia Leone since his escape from police custody last month.
“The accused is Leone’s partner and information was gathered that the two were staying in a cave up in the Saru Hills where a raid conducted by officers found the accused,” Ms Naisoro said.
She said officers continue the search for Leone after he escaped from the Nadi police Station with two others last month.
