A WOMAN charged with being in possession of illicit drugs will re-produced today at the Nausori Magistrates Court.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the 43-year-old woman is being charged for two counts of possession of illicit drugs, one for the marijuana find and one count for the methamphetamine find.
Ms Naisoro said June 26 the home of the accused was searched by the Eastern Division Taskforce after information was received of her alleged involvement in the illicit drug trade.
“The team found a clear bag containing dried leaves and white substance which later tested positive to be marijuana and methamphetamine.”
The woman produced in court yesterday and remanded in custody.
