POLICE have charged a woman in her 20s for allegedly harbouring an escaped prisoner in Nadi.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the accused was the partner of escapee Nacanieli Bakata who escaped from police custody on July 17.
She said following investigations, it was discovered that the woman had allegedly assisted Bakata on two separate occasions since his escape.
She allegedly took food for the escapee on July 19 and July 21 in Korociri and Votualevu.
