EXPECT rain within the Southern and Western parts of the Fiji group today.

The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi at 10:45am today says an eastward moving trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers affects the southern and western parts of the group and will gradually affect the rest of the group later today till tomorrow.

The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group expect cloudy periods with some showers over the Western parts of Viti Levu, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands.

Showers to gradually spread to the rest of the group later today.

There will also be moderate to fresh south to Northeast winds accompanied with moderate to rough seas.

As for the outlook for Sunday expect cloudy periods with brief showers over the Eastern parts and interior of the larger islands.

It will be fine elsewhere.
