A WEAK trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers continues to affect the Fiji group.
The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi at 10:45am today says the trough of low pressure is expected to affect the group till tonight.
Meanwhile, a frontal system lies just South of Kadavu.
The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group, expect cloudy periods with some showers over Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups, the eastern parts and interior of the other larger islands.
Otherwise, there will be afternoon or evening showers elsewhere and also cool at night.
Meanwhile, for mariners, a strong wind warning remains in force for Fiji waters.
The forecast to midday tomorrow for Fiji waters, expect Southeast winds 20 to 25 knots with rough seas and poor visibility in areas of heavy showers.
