A WEAK trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers lies slow moving just southwest of Fiji and affects the southern part of the country.
This is the latest weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi at 3:30pm today (June 22).
According to the bulletin, occasional showers over Southern Lau group, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands have been forecasted to midnight tomorrow.
Some showers over the southern and eastern parts of the other larger islands are also expected while it would be fine apart from possible isolated afternoon or evening showers elsewhere in the Fiji group.
The trough of low pressure is expected to affect the group later today.
