Update: 12:38PM KEEP those umbrellas and raincoats handy as the weatherman predicts wet weather for most parts of the country over the next few days.

The weather bulletin issued by the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi at 10:45am today says a trough of low pressure lies slow moving over the group bringing with it associated cloud and showers affecting the country.

The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group expect occasional showers and few thunderstorms over most places.

Showers becoming more frequent later today and isolated heavy falls expected.

Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.

There will also be moderate west to easterly winds becoming predominantly easterly tomorrow.

As for the outlook for Wednesday, there will be occasional showers and few thunderstorms over most places.
