Weather watch: High pressure system

A HIGH pressure system to the far south of Fiji directs a strong southeast wind flow over the group.
The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi at 10:45am this morning says a strong wind warning remains in force for all land areas of Fiji.
The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group the weatherman says there will be strong southeast winds with average speed of 45km/hr and gusts to 55km/hr and also expect rough to very rough seas.
Winds easing to moderate to fresh southeast winds later today.
As for the outlook for Thursday expect occasional showers and few thunderstorms over south-eastern parts of Viti Levu. There will be cloudy periods with some showers elsewhere and cool at night.
