A HIGH pressure system to the far south of Fiji directs a cool South to Southeasterly wind flow over most parts of the group.
This was confirmed in a weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi at 10:45am today.
However, the weatherman also confirmed a weak trough of low pressure with cloud and showers that remained slow moving just to the north of Fiji.
It is expected to drift Southwards from later tomorrow and affect the northern and eastern parts of the group.
As for the forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group, expect cloudy periods with some showers over the northern, eastern parts and the interior of the larger islands.
Rain will become more frequent and heavy from tomorrow.
