DO NOT expect sunshine going into the weekend as a trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain remains slow moving over the Southwest of the Fiji group.
This was confirmed in the weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this afternoon.
The low pressure is expected to affect the country until the weekend.
Occasional rain and few thunderstorms and isolated heavy falls are expected in Navua, Suva and Nausori.
As for Sigatoka, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Tavua, Rakiraki, Labasa and Savusavu and the Coral Coast, expect cloudy periods with afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms with showers becoming frequent and heavy with few thunderstorm from tonight.
For Rotuma, it will be fine apart from brief showers.
