A GALE WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR KADAVU, MATUKU AND ONO-I-LAU .

A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR THE REST OF FIJI.

A HEAVY RAIN WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR THE WHOLE OF FIJI GROUP.

TROPICAL CYCLONE JOSIE CENTRE 995HPA CATEGORY 1 WAS LOCATED NEAR 20.6 SOUTH

177.8 EAST OR ABOUT 180 KILOMETRES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF KADAVU AND 280 KILOMETRES

SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF SUVA AT 9:00 am. CLOSE TO ITS CENTRE, THE CYCLONE IS

ESTIMATED TO HAVE AVERAGE WINDS OF 65 KM/HR AND MOMENTARY GUSTS TO 90 KM/HR. THE

CYCLONE IS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT ABOUT 08 KM/HR.

ON THIS TRACK, THE CYCLONE CENTRE IS EXPECTED TO BE LOCATED ABOUT 270 KILOMETRES

SOUTH OF KADAVU AT 9:00 pm, AND ABOUT 410 KILOMETRES SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF KADAVU

AT 9:00 am TOMORROW.

DAMAGING GALE FORCE WINDS WITH AVERAGE SPEED OF 65 KM/HR AND MOMENTARY GUSTS TO

90 KM/HR, EASING TO STRONG WITH AVERAGE SPEED OF 50KM/HR WITH GUSTS TO 70KM/HR

FROM LATER TODAY. DAMAGING HEAVY SWELLS.
