HALF OF VITI LEVU, YASAWA AND MAMANUCA GROUP, VANUA LEVU, TAVEUNI
AND NEARBY SMALLER ISLANDS AND NORTHERN LAU GROUP.

A HEAVY RAIN WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR YASAWA GROUP, VANUA LEVU,
TAVEUNI AND NEARBY SMALLER ISLANDS AND NORTHERN LAU GROUP.

A HEAVY RAIN ALERT REMAIN IN FORCE FOR THE REST OF FIJI.

A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR LOW LYING AREAS, SMALL STREAMS
AND AREAS ADJACENT TO THE DOWNSTREAM OF DELAWA STATION AND
WAIRIKICAKE STATION TO LABASA TOWN – LABASA RIVER, DREKETILAILAI
STATION TO QAWA BRIDGE STATION – QAWA RIVER.

A FLOOD ALERT REMAINS IN FORCE FOR LOW LYING AREAS, SMALL STREAMS AND
AREAS ADJACENT TO THE REST OF THE MAJOR RIVERS OF VANUALEVU AND
TAVEUNI.

Situation: An active trough of low pressure with associated cloud and
rain affects the group.

Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
For Land areas of Western half of Viti Levu Yasawa and Mamanuca
group, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands and Northern
Lau group. Strong northerly winds with average speed of 50km/hr with
momentary gusts to 75km/hr. Rough to very rough seas.

Elsewhere, moderate to fresh northwesterly winds. Moderate to rough
seas.

For Yasawa group, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands and
Northern Lau group:
Periods of heavy rain and squally thunderstorms.

For the rest of Fiji:
Occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms.
Localised heavy falls may lead to flooding of low lying areas.
Outlook for Saturday : Periods of rain, heavy at times and squally
thunderstorms over most places.

For Navua / Suva / Nausori :
Occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms.
Outlook for Saturday : Periods of rain, heavy at times and squally
thunderstorms.

For Sigatoka / Coral Coast: Occasional rain, heavy at times and few
thunderstorms. Rain becoming frequent with squally thunderstorms
later today.
Outlook for Friday: Periods of rain, heavy at times and squally

For Nadi / Lautoka / Ba :
Occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms. Rain becoming
frequent with squally thunderstorms later today.

For Rakiraki / Tavua: Occasional rain, heavy at times and few

moving over Rotuma. Associated cloud and rain affects the island.

PASSAGE AND KADAVU PASSAGE, KORO SEA, NORTHERN VANUA LEVU AND LAU
WATERS

Situation:
An active trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain
affects the group.

Forecast to 6am tomorrow for Fiji waters:
For Yasawa Waters, Vatu-i-Ra and Kadavu Passage, Koro Sea, Northern
Vanua Levu and Lau waters:

Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots, gusting to 35 knots .
Rough to very rough seas.
Moderate southeast swells.

Further outlook: Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots, gusting to 35
knots. Moderate to rough seas. Moderate southeast swells.

For the rest of Fiji Waters:
Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots.
Moderate to rough seas.
Moderate southeast swells.
