FOURTEEN pre-school students of Wainiyavu Primary Kindergarten School in Namosi visited The Fiji Times newsroom today as part of the Early Childhood Education (ECE) Week that ended last Friday.
Kindergarten teacher Aliti Bulai said this was also the first-ever field trip for the kindergarten.
She said the students, who were also accompanied by their parents, were brought to the city to allow a level of exposure that would later assist them on the career path they wished to take after completing their education.
“This trip was because of the ECE week and we just wanted the children to be interested in The Fiji Times and what job they want to take when they grow up,” Ms Bulai said.
The team will leave for Namosi this afternoon.
