CONGO Waimanu Netball Club from Sawani Village in Naitasiri has left Tailevu Netball Association to join the Suva Netball Association.
Club president Litia Naiteqe said they wanted to revive the Naitasiri South Netball Association and were grateful to Suva for accepting them.
“For the past two years, we had been playing under the Tailevu Netball Association and this year, we had decided to join Suva mainly to observe how they run their competition,” Naiteqe said.
“We have active clubs in the Naitasiri Province and in order to get these clubs participating, we need to know how to run an association.
“With the help of the Suva officials and the committee members, in two years’ time when we return, we can run the Naitasiri Netball Association.”
