FIJI Bati wing Suliasi Vunivalu scored two tries in eight minutes to help his Melbourne Storm side beat South Sydney Rabbitohs 29-28 in the NRL semi-final play-offs last night.

Vunivalu scored in the 31st minute then again touched down in the 39th.

Both teams were locked at 28-all before Cameron Munster kicked an unexpected field goal in the 76th minute.

That proved to be the difference as the Storm marched into the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, in other semi-final playoffs tonight, Penrith Panthers plays the New Zealand Warriors at 7.30pm after which the Roosters play the Sharks at 9.40pm.

At 6pm tomorrow, the Brisbane Broncos play the Dragons.
