FIJIAN Elections Office (FEO) Voter Services Centre staff members have been reminded to provide consistent, quality and fair service to all voters around the country.

Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem stressed this while opening the Voter Services Centre Staff Training at the Suvavou House in Suva today.

With the 2018 General Elections drawing near, the Fijian Elections Office has opened the Voters Services Centres to the major towns and cities to ensure maximum coverage in its bid to provide services to voters.

Mr Saneem urged the voter services centre staff members to deliver services of the highest quality, while at the same time uphold the integrity of FEO and without compromising on efficiency.

“Things such as presentation, approach, delivery of information and knowledge of your firm’s vision are the key details that one needs to be highly familiar with,” Mr Saneem said.

“It is also highly important that one is confident when having things discussed with integrity and keeping confidentiality in mind at all times.”

Mr Saneem said the work required proper step by step process to be followed and it was essential that the processes were followed with the same manner from the beginning until the end.

“This is important to ensure there are no discrepancies when it comes to handling any scenarios such as meet and greet or even disputes.

“All customers around the country should be given exactly the same service for any particular process and not different. We need to be consistent to the letter as best we can.”
