“I am going to push myself to the limit and try to win a gold medal for my school in the Fiji Finals,” says Eroni Vosanibola.

The Lelean Memorial School sprinter won the blue ribbon race at the Nasinu, Naitasiri and Nausori Secondary Schools Zone at the ANZ Stadium in Suva on Thursday.

The zone is also known as the Triple N Zone.

Vosanibola clocked 10.90 seconds to book a spot in the 2018 Coca-Cola Games next month.

“It is a happy moment for me to win the 100 metres,” he said after the race.

“All the hard work have paid off, but one more to go in the Coca-Cola Games.”

The Year 13 student who wants to be a chef in the future helped his school retain the boys’ title while Adi Cakobau School (ACS) retained the girls’ crown.
