TROPIK Pine Lautoka Maroons is gunning for victory against Yasawa in the Vodafone Vanua Championship today.
The Sugar City boys have secured bonus-point wins in their past four games and will be targeting the same outcome against the islanders to keep their semi-finals hopes alive.
Team secretary Sefanaia Scholte said the side would do its best to maintain its unbeaten run and to fulfil its goal of playing in the major division next year.
He said the game would best test the Lautoka boys since some of the players in the Yasawa team used to play club rugby in Lautoka.
Meanwhile, in other Vanua Cup West games today:

– Tavua hosts neighbour Serua at Garvey Park;
– Vatukoula faces Ba at the Ba Market ground;
– Neighbours Ra meets Nanukuloa at Saivou District School ground.

For the Northern/Central/Eastern competition:

– Northland to host Ovalau at Gatward Park;
– Northen Bulls meets Tailevu at Nakelo District School ground;
– Bua faces Nasinu at the FNU ground; and
– Cakaudrove to host Macuata at Ganilau.
