FIJI National Rugby League Vodafone Cup champion defending champion Sabeto Roosters team has been bundled out of the cup quarter-final after its narrow 5-4 loss to Ravoravo Rabbitohs at Lawaqa Park last night.
The win was a sweet revenge for the Rabbitohs after their cup final loss last year as they now chase their first-ever Vodafone Cup win.
Nippy playmaker Timoci Namotukula was the hero for his team for slotting the winning drop goal in the golden point extra time after both teams were levelled 4-all at full time.
The Rabbitohs will join KBL Saru Dragos, Fiji Gas Fiji Police Sharks and Army Bears in this weekend’s semi-finals.
