FORMER national and district reps will be in action at the RC Manubhai/ Apco Coatings veteran’s football tournament which kick starts in Lautoka this afternoon.

The Suva Masters side has the like of Manoa Masi while Ronald Ram will feature in the Naisnu side.

Wise brothers, Patrick and Castern with Kini Tamani feature for Rewa while Lorima Batirerega has joined the Ba side.

Alipate Dreu, Tevita Matenitu and Watisoni Vuli are in Nadi while Viliame Batidegei will feature for Tavua.

Tama Vasuga will lead Rakiraki while former Suva rep Rajesh Kumar and Seveci Rokotakala will feature for the visiting New Zealand Labasa side.

Fiji Football Association Chief Executive Officer, Mohammed Yusuf has urged fans to come out in numbers and cheer on their former stars.

“The games today go on till 10pm and people can come after finishing work. We are doing this to keep the players healthy and to keep them in the sport.” he said.

The tournament begins at 1.30pm where Tavua Masters plays Lautoka Veterans in the first match.

The winner of the tourney gets $4000 while the runner-up walks away with $1000.
