VEIUTO Primary School ended the Suva Primary Schools Netball Association competition on a high note in winning 26 trophies and were announced the overall winner at the LICI Multi-Purpose Court in Suva last Saturday.
After the competition, players will be chosen to represent their district to compete in the Central Division Championship.
Suva Primary Schools Netball Association president Elenoa Vadei said they would now prepare their girls for the Central division Championship.
“We will have our trials for the under- 9-under-14 grades this afternoon at the LICI court. Suva will be having three teams in each grade,” said Ms Vadei.
Ms Vadei said they had eight districts confirmed to compete in the Central Division Championship; Nasinu, Tailevu South, Naitasiri, Kadavu, Serua, Namosi Highlanders, Gau, Namosi/Serua. We are still waiting for the confirmation from three more distrcits Northland, Ovalau and Beqa.
The Central Division Championship will be held from August 13-15 at the National Netball Centre in Suva.
