The United Pentecostal Church concluded their week-long annual conference at the Vodafone Arena in Suva yesterday.

UPC general secretary Pastor Sunia Vakamoce said the service yesterday was to bring everyone together

“This is like a refresher course gathering and a time to get together as a church family,” he said.

“The conference started on Tuesday that saw church leaders within the denomination coming together for the meeting,” he said.

“We had our business meeting and elections and most importantly, a time of fellowship and encouraging our pastors who had been delivering the work in the spiritual field.

“We also had the superintendents’ dinner on Thursday night and we had the Minister for Agriculture Inia Seruiratu as our chief guest.”

Pastor Vakamoce also said 19 church members graduated from their UPC International Bible School yesterday.

“This is the time where ch

urch members comes together yearly,” he said.

“The church is working on reaching out to outer islands in spreading the word of the gospel, and by 2020; we want to see that we’ve covered the whole of Fiji in spreading the gospel.”
