POLICE have yet to identify the body of an iTaukei man who was allegedly murdered at the Suva foreshore on Thursday night.
This was confirmed by police spokesperson Ana Naisoro yesterday.
Police said they needed the public’s assistance in identifying the man, who’s believed to be in his 20s.
According to police two men who were nearby, found the victim lying in a pool of blood. Earlier, the victim had passed one of the eyewitnesses accompanied by another youth.
The statement said investigators needed to identify the victim before a post-mortem examination would be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.
