THE next deployments of Fijian troops to the United Nations peacekeeping missions are under negotiation.
Republic of Fiji Military Forces chief of staff Brigadier- General Jone Kalouniwai confirmed this saying it was part of the UN’s work of downsizing all peacekeeping missions across the board.
“What’s happening now is happening worldwide for the UN deployments with their downsizing,” he said.
