Two thirds students vaccinated

Update: 7:03PM SOME students of Navesau Adventist High School received Meningococcal C vaccinations today.

Director Education Seventh Day Adventist Fiji Nemani Tausere said more than two third of students were vaccinated.

Mr Tausere said while other students were left to be vaccinated, they were also for other students to arrive to school from their Easter weekend.

“There were only two thirds of the boarders that got vaccinated today because the others are still coming,” he said.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama with the Minister for Health and Medical Services Rosy Akbar visited the school today.

Ms Akbar said the medical team conducting the vaccinations in the school will be there till next Monday.

“So the team will be here till next week Monday and we will try to vaccinate all the children,” she said.
