TWO teenagers are missing and the Fiji Police Force has requested public supporting in locating them.

Sixteen year old Alivereti Cawanibuka Junior of Jittu Estate has been missing since Sunday afternoon when he was last seen on a bus on its way to Suva.

“Checks made at all likely places have so far been negative,” a police statement said.

Thirteen year old  Silivia Masi Saumaivale was reported missing at the Nabua Police Station.

Silivia’s was last seen at a Nabua bus stop on April 26th where her mother dropped her off. She had been on her way to attend holiday classes.

“When she failed to return home a missing person’s report was lodged at the Nabua Police Station,” the police statement said.

Any information must be directed to Crime Stoppers on telephone number 919.

“We are also pleading with members of the public to be mindful of the comments made when a report is issued about a missing person especially on social media,” the police statement said.

“Comments made about a person’s character or assumptions on why a person fails to return home and is reported missing is often difficult for the person’s family to read and more importantly the individual  concerned.”
