TWO young men are dead following an alleged drowning incident in the Sigatoka River yesterday.

Divisional Police Commander West Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Verani Nakauyaca confirmed the two men, who were in their 20’s, had gone swimming and tried to save another woman when the incident happened.

SSP Nakauyaca said a post mortem would be conducted tomorrow as investigations continued.
