FIJIAN rugby superstar Josua Tuisova yesterday admitted only death would separate him from the love of his life, Tarusila Ravouvou.

Tuisova said he was humbled to marry the woman of his dream in front of his loved ones, relatives and rugby friends during their wedding ceremony at the Votua Methodist Church in Ba yesterday.

The icing on the cake was when he was joined by brother and France-based Filipe Nakosi who also tied the knot with Vika Rokotakala.

Tuisova said he was humbled to celebrate his big day alongside his brother.

“I am happy to start a new journey with my wife and to fulfil the promises we have made that only death will do us part,” he said.

“I did not expect to have this much people in the village today, and I thank each and everyone for their presence to celebrate with us on this special day.

“I have been playing rugby throughout my life and I believe the support of my wife will further boost my rugby career.
“Personally it is God first, family then rugby. I thank my wife for her support during the past years –– although sometimes I didn’t listen to her –– now I believe it is a new beginning.

“I am also humbled to celebrate with my brother on this special day.”

He said his next mission was to do the country proud at the 2018 Rugby World Cup Sevens in San Francisco, US.

He thanked Fiji Airways Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber for allowing him to prepare for the wedding before joining the national 7s training camp.

“The world cup is just around the corner and I am honoured to be given the chance to be with my family for this wedding.”

“Now the wedding is over and I am ready to represent the country at the world cup if I am selected in the final 12-member team.”

Tuisova’s Toulon rugby teammate Semi Radradra along with France-based Flying Fijian and Olympian Leone Nakarawa, Fiji 7s rep Eroni Sau and England 15s rep Nathan Hughes were some of the big names present at the wedding.

Radradra and Nakarawa have also being named in the Fiji 7s world cup squad.
