WITH the completion of the Suva Touch Association season one yesterday, the games coordinator Maraia Uluimoala believes there were young players who could make it to the national team.

Fiji will be sending a team to the Touch World Cup in Malaysia and then a team to the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa.

“Our future in touch rugby looks bright, there are players who have showed a lot of commitment and determination in the competition,” she said.

“The players have what it takes to be in the national team for the World Cup and the Pacific Games.

“We will be having a busy year next year.”

2Fresh won the men’s grade while Raiwaqa Flyers won the mix grade at the Sacred Heart College ground in Nasese, Suva yesterday.
