THREE men who were in police custody in relation to the death of iTaukei Land Trust Board (TLTB) employee Savenaca Nakuta have been released.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the men were questioned for their alleged involvement in Mr Nakuta’s death.
Police now await post-mortem examination results before proceeding with the case.
The 50-year-old was allegedly killed while on his way to Rakiraki with his 10-year-old son last Friday night.
He was allegedly assaulted by a group of drunken men.
