WORKING for God is always a challenge, says Youth With A Mission Australian based coordinator Wati Savu.

In this week’s celebration of 10 years of YWAM existence in the North, Mrs Savu described their beginning as a challenging one.

“YWAM includes volunteers and we don’t get paid but we rent a house, pay bills, buy food and take care of other expenses and we only depend on God,” she said.

“And since we started here in Labasa in 2008, only God has been our provider.”

Last night, the celebration started at the Salvation Army hall which included missionaries from around the world.
