TC Keni: West shops to close by noon

Update: 11:33AM ALL supermarkets and other services still open in the Western Division should close their shops by mid-day today.
Commissioner of Police Briagdier General Sitiveni Qiliho said police have received reports that certain supermarkets in the flood affected Western Division are still open.
“We have had some reports from the Western Division, particularly some supermarkets that are still open and the workers are worried about their homes,”Brig-Gen Qiliho said.
“They need to go home to secure their properties and families. By mid-day today all shops should be closed.”
He said it�s the small scale neighbourhood shops will be allowed to remain open so members of the public can purchase their emergency items such as batteries, candles and other essentials from these shops.
Tropical Cyclone Kina is projected to be closest to Fiji by 3pm today where it is forecasted to be located at 90 kilometres off Nadi.
