TC Josie: Navua flood waters recede

Update: 6:52PM FLOOD waters in Navua have receded leaving behind debris while strong currents are visible in the river.
Several families who live by the river side were affected as water levels rose to 1.5metres.
The old Navua Subdivisional Hospital site, now used as staff quarters, is still flooded and the water levels are knee deep.
Ten staff members including two families live at the site which also houses the town morgue.
There is no currently no power in the township.
A community evacuation centre has been set up at Vashist Muni College.
