TC Gita: Apia flights cancelled

Update: 1:01PM FLIGHTS to and from Apia, Samoa, have been cancelled.

National carrier Fiji Airways confirmed this via its Twitter account today.

The airline tweeted that Faleolo Airport in Apia had been closed until February 12 because of Tropical Cyclone Gita.

“Our reservations team will contact affected guests,” the airline stated.

“Supplementary flights will be confirmed once weather and airport conditions permit.”
