HUNDREDS of Water Authority of Fiji customers were without water yesterday.

A statement issued by the authority said residents living in Lami and neighbouring areas faced water disruptions because of works carried out in the area.

WAF said customers experiencing low water pressure to no water at times was because of a burst main along the Queens Rd.

Affected areas included Lami Village, Qauia, Valenicina, Kalekana, Uduya, Panaromic, Muaivuso, Waiqanake, from Veisari to the Naval Base in Togalevu outside of Lami.

Water supply is expected to normalise today.
