THE Suva Methodist Primary school under-11 team aims to retain the Teivovo trophy in the 2018 Vodafone Fiji Primary Schools Kaji Rugby competition. The green machine from Toorak who have been unbeaten from the under-9 to under-10 are on the verge of creating history by winning the prestigious cup for three years.

Coach Rupeni Madigi said the team bond had been overwhelming with the kids always eager to learn new things.

“This year we will try and take one step up with our training. Get the players psyched since they will be playing on a whole new level of competition,” he said.

“We’re also the overall Suva champions and the kids know it will be a tough competition in trying to retain the trophy.”

Madigi also thanked the parents for their support and pitching in to provide their training materials.

“We are grateful to our parents for helping us and supporting the children in all their competition.”

Madigi stated all teams were a threat to them and they will treat all games as the final.
