Suva Masters win over NZ Labasa in veterans football tourney

THE Suva Masters side defeated New Zealand Labasa 1-nil in the first match of the RC Manubhai/ Apco Coatings Veterans football tournament in Lautoka today.

The Rewa Veterans and JK Nadi played to a nil-all draw, Nasinu Masters thumped Lautoka Masters 3-1, Ba Legends and Rakiraki Legends played to a nil-all draw.

Pool matches continue today and tomorrow.

The winner of the tournament walks away $4000 richer while the runner up gets $1000.
